We had quite a few problems with CrossFireX on the EP45-DS3R - we firstly had to drop the memory performance right down from a highly tweaked 3-3-3-9-22tRFC-5tWR-2T 6tRD to 4-3-3-11-2T 7tRD to just get the system stable enough to consistently complete benchmarks without resetting itself. Then when we later changed to HD 3850s for stability testing it threw a fit no matter what Catalyst drivers were used. It seems stable enough (at the time of writing it's only half way through our stability test) with HD 4850s in the PCI-Express x16 slots though.

The CrossFire performance in Crysis has shown itself to be not particularly wonderful but not epically bad either as the EP45-DS3R drops a couple of frames per second to the other P45 boards. It's performance is still better than what P35 offers from its crippled x16/x4 link.

ET:QW performance is pretty solid, and it sits in tune with another group of similar boards although it does drop a couple of FPS to the Asus P5Q again and the Gigabyte EP45-DQ6.

World in Conflict on the other hand is another matter, with exceptional performance despite the drop in memory performance. We retested WiC before and after the memory timing adjustment and found it made virtually no difference to the results - both were within normal varying tolerance.
